Nevis Forward is an information blog about Nevis and the wider Caribbean — a place to understand what’s happening across the islands, and how the outside world is shaping our future.

We cover the real issues: the money flowing in, the pressure on our land and resources, education, farming and fishing, tourism, our history, and the decisions that will shape the next generation. Not headlines for their own sake — insight, context, and honest discussion about what these changes actually mean for ordinary people.

This is for two kinds of people who are really the same at heart: those living here on the island, and those out in the world — the diaspora and the friends of the Caribbean — who still care deeply about home. People who want positive change, and who understand that real progress means protecting what makes these islands worth loving in the first place.

Because the Caribbean’s future won’t be decided only by outside money or outside interests. It’ll be decided by how well we understand what’s happening — and by the choices we make, together, to move forward while preserving what’s ours for the ones who come next.
